“Lockwood Publishing” is an online entertainment product and service owned and operated by Lockwood Publishing Limited (“Lockwood Publishing”.) These terms and conditions apply to all and any use, access and availability of Lockwood Publishing.
By using Lockwood Publishing and each time you do so you are telling Lockwood Publishing that you understand, accept and are able to accept these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the PLAYSTATION® Network Terms of Service and User Agreement (for details click here) as amended from time to time (“PSN Terms”). If you do not accept or understand these terms and conditions you should not use or access Lockwood Publishing or any part of it.
If you are under the age of 18 years and do not understand these terms and conditions please ask a parent or guardian to explain their meaning to you. In any case you must be over the age of 12 years in order use Lockwood Publishing.
By using and accessing Lockwood Publishing you confirm that you have the necessary hardware and related software and capability required and that you shall be and shall remain responsible for all fees due in respect thereof. Lockwood Publishing shall have no liability in relation to any hardware or related software or other services required to make use of Lockwood Publishing.
Subject to these terms and conditions and your compliance with them, Lockwood Publishing grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual right to store and use, Lockwood Publishing for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms and conditions and the PSN Terms.
This licence includes the limited right to download content, materials, data and communications temporarily, for purposes solely connected with the private, non-commercial, personal use of Lockwood Publishing.
You may not transfer, sub license or deal in this right without Lockwood Publishing prior written permission.
These terms and conditions and the rights granted by them do not give you any rights or permission for public performance of Lockwood Publishing or any part of it.
These terms and conditions and the rights granted by them do not give you any title or rights of ownership in Lockwood Publishing and should not be deemed a sale or transfer of any copyright or other right.
Unless otherwise expressly specified, all copyright, design rights, database right, patent rights, trade mark and trade dress rights and other intellectual property rights in Lockwood Publishing belong to and vest in Lockwood Publishing, or are licensed to Lockwood Publishing.
All intellectual property rights of Lockwood Publishing are hereby asserted and reserved.
All third party trade names and trade marks are the property of their respective owners and Lockwood Publishing makes no warranty or representation in relation to them.
Lockwood Publishing does not claim or assert any right title or interest in any third party Communications.
Restrictions and Obligations
You agree to comply with these terms and conditions and all rules applicable to the use of Lockwood Publishing.
Notwithstanding any other provision of these terms and conditions you agree and undertake not to:
- hack, attempt to hack, modify, adapt, merge, translate, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or create derivative works out of Lockwood Publishing or any part of it;
- remove, disable, modify, add to or tamper with any program code or data, copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices and legends contained on or in Lockwood Publishing;
- create software which mimics any data or functionality in Lockwood Publishing;
- use or deal in Lockwood Publishing except as permitted by these terms and conditions;
- include contact details intended to enable communication outside of Lockwood Publishing, in any Communication;
- use your access to Lockwood Publishing, or information gathered from it, for the sending of unsolicited bulk email;
- make any public, business or commercial use of Lockwood Publishing or any part of it;
- provide hypertext links, URL Links, graphic links, hyperlinks or other direct connection for profit or gain to Lockwood Publishing without Lockwood Publishing’s prior written permission;
- make Lockwood Publishing or any part of it available to any third party;
- display, publish, copy, print, post or otherwise use Lockwood Publishing and the information contained therein for the benefit of any third party or web site;
- use or process Lockwood Publishing or any part of it unfairly or for any illegal or immoral purpose;
- delete or obscure any copyright or other proprietary notice on Lockwood Publishing.
You further agree that in connection with Lockwood Publishing you will not:
- organise hate groups or use or promote hate speech;
- cheat or engage in deceptive, fraudulent or misleading practices, including phishing for other users’ account details or unauthorised use of another user’s account or another person’s credit card or billing information;
- use any unauthorised hardware or software to access or use Lockwood Publishing or PSN or make, or distribute unauthorised software or hardware in conjunction with Lockwood Publishing (including but not limited to cheat code software or devices that circumvent any security features or limitations included on any software or devices);
- modify or attempt to modify the online client, disc, save file, server, client-server communication, or other parts of Lockwood Publishing of any part thereof;
- bypass or attempt to bypass any user authentication systems or security feature;
- attempt to hack or reverse engineer any code or equipment in connection with Lockwood Publishing (unless permitted by applicable law);
- take any action that we consider to be disruptive to the normal flow of chat or gameplay, including uploading, posting, streaming or otherwise transmitting unsolicited or unauthorised material, including junk mails, spam, excessive messages or chain letters;
- provide us or any third party company with false or inaccurate information, including reporting false complaints to our customer services or providing false or inaccurate information during account registration;
- sell, buy, trade or otherwise transfer your online ID, your personal access to Lockwood Publishing or any content or services accessed via Lockwood Publishing, through any means or method, including use of web auction sites;
- use Lockwood Publishing in any way that harms Lockwood Publishing or any of affiliates, subsidiaries, licensors, service providers, partners or users;
- otherwise misuse Lockwood Publishing.
Lockwood Publishing may only be accessed and used via authorized servers. You must take no action to bypass authorized servers and/or third party software to modify any aspect of Lockwood Publishing and you expressly consent to Lockwood Publishing monitoring your computer’s random access memory for said unauthorized third party programs.
Forum and Communications
“Communications” means any content, materials, postings, data, messages and communications sent, submitted, posted, placed on, made to or otherwise communicated to, from or using Lockwood Publishing.
Lockwood Publishing is an entertainment service and ancillary to this Lockwood Publishing is involved in the transmission, storage, retrieval and dealing with third party Communications without review, selection or alteration of their content – for which it is a mere conduit.
The views expressed in any Communications are the views of the individual authors and not those of Lockwood Publishing unless specified otherwise by Lockwood Publishing.
Lockwood Publishing is not responsible for and disclaims all liability in respect of any comments, views or remarks expressed in any Communications.
By using Lockwood Publishing you acknowledge that Lockwood Publishing has no responsibility to review the content of any Communications and that all Communications are made available on the basis that Lockwood Publishing is not required to and does not exercise any control or judgement of their content.
Notwithstanding the foregoing Lockwood Publishing shall be entitled to remove or reject any Communications and remove or suspend your ability to make or access Communications.
You agree that Lockwood Publishing may use, publish, edit, modify, record and adapt your Communications for any and all purposes relating to Lockwood Publishing and the business of Lockwood Publishing and you hereby grant it an unrestricted non-exclusive right and licence and all necessary permissions, consents and licences required for it to use your Communications in that way. You further waive all so called moral rights in your Communications. Any data collected in this way, including the content of your voice and text communications, the time and location of your activities, and your Online ID and IP address, may be used by us to enforce the these terms and conditions and / or passed to the police or other appropriate authorities. By accepting these terms and conditions or using Lockwood Publishing, you expressly consent to this.
You agree and undertake that you will not make any Communication or post to or transmit to Lockwood Publishing any statement or material, nor use Lockwood Publishing in any way, that:
- is unlawful or which gives rise to civil or criminal liability;
- promotes any illegal or unlawful activity;
- infringes any copyright or other intellectual property right of any third party or assists infringement or piracy;
- includes any computer virus, worms, logic bombs or other malicious software or technically harmful data;
- is abusive, threatening, pornographic, defamatory, discriminatory or ethically, sexually or religiously offensive or obscene;
- harasses any person including but not limited to stalking or bullying;
- markets or promotes any third party;
- interferes with another user’s use and enjoyment of Lockwood Publishing;
- impersonates any moderator, administrator or any staff or other persons connected with Lockwood Publishing;
- infringes upon or violates any third party’s rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, rights of privacy, including unauthorized disclosure of a person’s name, e-mail address, physical address or phone number, and/or rights of publicity;
- includes restricted / password protected content or materials;
- exploits any other person;
- solicits passwords or personal information;
- provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, buying or selling illegal drugs, violating someone’s privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
- contains video, photographs, or images of another person without his or her permission (or in the case of a minor, the minor’s legal guardian);
- tries to gain unauthorized access to any computer, servers or any part of Lockwood Publishing including its servers, network and the computers of other users;
- tries to gain unauthorized access to any profiles, blogs, chat rooms, communities, account information, bulletins, or other aspects of Lockwood Publishing;
- engages in or solicits commercial activities or sales without Lockwood Publishing’s prior written consent such as, without limitation gambling, betting, sweepstakes, sales advertising, investments and pyramid schemes;
- refers to any material that is inappropriate;
- seeks or attempts to make any arrangement to meet a child under the age of 16 or which may have such a meeting as its object or effect;
- contains any restricted material, including but not limited to passwords, medical information or confidential information of any person; or
- solicits, invites, encourages, advocates, incites or provokes any or all of the foregoing.
If you discover any material which you believe contravenes these terms and conditions please inform Lockwood Publishing or a forum moderator with details of the page you found it on.
It is a known risk of internet usage that people are not necessarily who they say they are. People may provide information or behave in a way that is unreliable, misleading, unlawful or illegal. Lockwood Publishing has no way of telling if statements made by other users are true. This is a decision that can only be made by you. You should therefore exercise some degree of caution when using any web site. By using Lockwood Publishing and its services you accept that this is the case and accept that you therefore use Lockwood Publishing at your own risk.
PLEASE TAKE PARTICULAR CARE IN RELATION TO THE DISCLOSURE OF YOUR OWN PERSONAL INFORMATION SUCH AS YOUR SURNAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER AND PLACES YOU GO.
You acknowledge and agree that, if necessary, Lockwood Publishing will communicate with you via the email address you have provided to Lockwood Publishing. Notices that are applicable to all Lockwood Publishing’s customers shall be made available on the Lockwood Publishing websites or otherwise within Lockwood Publishing. You will be deemed to have received a notice at the time the email is sent or the time the notice is posted on our websites or within the Service.
All emails sent by Lockwood Publishing and attachments thereto are intended for the addressee only.
Liability
Lockwood Publishing provides and maintains Lockwood Publishing for personal entertainment on an “as is” basis and is liable only to provide its services with reasonable skill and care.
External Sites have not been verified or reviewed by Lockwood Publishing and all use and access of External Sites is made at your own risk. “External Sites” means third party web sites and online services to which Lockwood Publishing links.
Lockwood Publishing gives no other warranty in connection with Lockwood Publishing and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockwood Publishing excludes liability for:
- any loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, including any direct, indirect, special, punitive or consequential loss whether or not such arises out of any problem which Lockwood Publishing has been made aware of;
- the accuracy, currency or validity of information and material contained within any Communications or Lockwood Publishing;
- any interruptions to or delays in updating Lockwood Publishing;
- any incorrect or inaccurate information on Lockwood Publishing;
- the infringement by any person of any copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party through any Communication or use of Lockwood Publishing;
- the availability, quality, content or nature of External Sites;
- any transaction involving External Sites;
- any amount or kind of loss or damage due to viruses or other malicious software that may infect a user’s computer equipment, software, data or other property caused by persons accessing, using or downloading Lockwood Publishing, or any Communication;
- all representations, warranties, conditions and other terms and conditions which but for this notice would have effect.
Lockwood Publishing does not warrant that the operation of Lockwood Publishing will be uninterrupted or error free.
Lockwood Publishing will not be liable in any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is caused by the occurrence of any unforeseen contingency beyond the reasonable control of such party including Internet outages, communications outages, fire, flood, war or act of God.
Except as provided above there are no other warranties, conditions or other terms and conditions, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, and all such terms and conditions are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree that in relation to your use of Lockwood Publishing you will not in any way conduct yourself in a manner which is unlawful or which gives rise to civil or criminal liability or which might call into disrepute Lockwood Publishing.
You agree that you are and shall remain responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Password and membership account and for all activities that occur under your account.
You hereby indemnify, defend and hold Lockwood Publishing and Lockwood Publishing’s officers, directors, owners, agents, information providers, affiliates, licensors and licensees (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from and against any and all liability and costs (including reasonable attorneys fees) incurred by the Indemnified Parties in connection with any claim arising out of any breach by you of these terms and conditions or claims arising from your use of Lockwood Publishing any Communications and any use of your membership account. You shall use your best efforts to cooperate with Lockwood Publishing in the defence of any claim. Lockwood Publishing reserves the right, at Lockwood Publishing’s own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.
Termination and Suspension
Without limiting to any other rights it may have Lockwood Publishing may remove, restrict, cancel or suspend access to and use of Lockwood Publishing and any part of it, if it considers (in its sole discretion) that you have breached of any of these terms and conditions.
Additionally we reserve the right to:
- cancel your account if it has not been used for 18 months;
- bring legal action against you if you are in breach of these terms and conditions and to participate in any government, criminal or private legal action or investigation relating to your conduct using Lockwood Publishing;
- temporarily or permanently discontinue Lockwood Publishing and any and all services and content available through Lockwood Publishing at any time, including for service maintenance and upgrades.
- Policy on Privacy, Data, Cookies and Marketing Communications
- Lockwood Publishing will only use information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Data
Lockwood Publishing may ask you for certain information and you may submit personal data to Lockwood Publishing (such as your name, email address and contact details) when you subscribe or sign up to Lockwood Publishing.
Lockwood Publishing may also record which parts of Lockwood Publishing and services you are interested in as well as user traffic patterns and site use. This information will be kept securely in accordance with an internal security policy and may be used to:
(a) process your Communications, your subscription to Lockwood Publishing and to enable your use of Lockwood Publishing and associated services;
(b) open and run your account and provide you with an up to date, efficient and reliable service;

Lockwood Publishing gives you a choice of whether or not you want Lockwood Publishing or other reputable companies to contact you about future offers, events and new services or related activities that you may find useful. Lockwood Publishing will not sell or trade personal information to other companies but Lockwood Publishing would like to keep you informed of the developments on Lockwood Publishing and certain games and Lockwood Publishing would like to share data with other reputable companies who may have interesting offers and information for you (inside or outside the EU).
Lockwood Publishing will not send you any marketing emails or pass your information on to third parties unless you give your consent or you have given it already.
In Game Advertising
Lockwood Publishing incorporates dynamic advertisement serving technology which enables advertising to be temporarily uploaded into the game on your console and replaced while you are online. If you use Lockwood Publishing, we may log information from your computer to ensure that the appropriate advertising is presented at the right location within Lockwood Publishing and to calculate number of unique and repeat views of advertising. Logged data may include IP address and (where applicable) console MAC address, “in game” location / Lockwood Publishing location, length of time an advert was visible, size of the advert and angle of view. We may use information which we have about you to present adverts which we believe will be of particular interest to you. Logged data will be shared with third party companies who operate the advertisement serving technology
Security
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your personal information. This includes setting up processes and procedures to minimise unauthorised access to or disclosure of your information. However, we do not guarantee that we will eliminate all risk of misuse of your personal information by intruders. It is important that you keep your password secret to prevent unauthorised access to and use of your account and any payment details which you have saved for your account.

Lockwood Publishing uses ‘cookies’ on Lockwood Publishing. Cookies are a way that information such as whether you have visited Lockwood Publishing before is recorded on your computer and used by Lockwood Publishing to improve Lockwood Publishing and the services available to you. Lockwood Publishing is free to use and play.
As part of and to enhance your use and enjoyment of Lockwood Publishing you may be able to obtain additional features that form part of the Lockwood Publishing experience (“Lockwood Publishing Features”).
Lockwood Publishing Features are features of a service that that may used subject to these terms and conditions and on the basis of the licence granted by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions and your use of Lockwood Publishing do not give you any rights of ownership in any property whether tangible or intangible (including in any Lockwood Publishing Feature).
Lockwood Publishing Features may be exchanged for other Lockwood Publishing Features in and as part of Lockwood Publishing only.
Lockwood Publishing Features include a virtual currency used in and as part of Lockwood Publishing (“Lockwood Publishing Credits”).
You may obtain or receive Lockwood Publishing Features (including Lockwood Publishing Credits) free of charge as part of and as a result of your participation in Lockwood Publishing.
You may also purchase certain additional Lockwood Publishing Features using funds from your PSN Wallet. All sales are in accordance with the applicable terms as set out in the Playstation Network: Terms of Service and User Agreement.
Lockwood Publishing Credits must be used within 24 months of purchase.
General
These terms and conditions are subject to your statutory and common law consumer rights and shall not limit any rights you might have that may not be excluded under applicable law nor shall it exclude or limit Lockwood Publishing’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence nor any fraudulent representation.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable, it will be construed as far as possible to reflect the intention and the remainder of the provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Lockwood Publishing is intended for and directed at the United Kingdom and no representation or warranty is made as to whether Lockwood Publishing complies with the regulatory regime and local laws of any other country.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the contract between you and Lockwood Publishing shall be deemed to have been formed and performed in England, shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England. and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Warranty and Disclaimer
Other than as set out in these terms and conditions, we give no warranty about the quality, functionality, availability, completeness, accuracy or performance of Lockwood Publishing or any content and services available via Lockwood Publishing. We do not guarantee Lockwood Publishing will always be available or error free and we assume no liability for your inability to purchase or use any content, goods or services. We exclude all liability for loss of data or unauthorised access to data and for damage caused to your software or hardware as a result of using or accessing Lockwood Publishing. You are responsible for your Internet Service Provider fees and any other fees related to your use of Lockwood Publishing, including any increase in such fees resulting from your use of Lockwood Publishing.
If we are liable to you for failure to deliver content or services, our liability is limited either to re-providing the relevant content or service or (at our option) refunding the amount you paid for the content or service.
These terms and conditions set out your sole and exclusive rights in connection with Lockwood Publishing. These terms and conditions and the above limitations, exclusions and disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. However you may have other legal rights as a consumer which are not affected by these terms and conditions.
