PlayStation Home and Lockwood Publishing

Our latest project, Sodium One, was launched on December 17, 2009 to the European and North American versions of Home. Sodium One represents a new benchmark for social gaming and it promises to be an ever-evolving multiplayer online (MMO) game space available within the ground-breaking 3D gaming community, PlayStation Home.

The initial launch of the game included an exciting game known as “Salt Shooter” – a 50 level battle game where users can earn and collect items to level up gameplay and strategically customize hover-tanks with weapons, armour, and countermeasures. The full game of Sodium One Salt Shooter can be obtained by purchasing the Sodium Pilot Outfit from the Commerce Point, which is a shop with associated Sodium One products and other content from Outso and Lockwood Publishing.

PlayStation Home users can step into the Sodium “Tele-porter” located in the PlayStation Home Central Plaza and be transported to a futuristic, action-packed social gaming environment. In SodiumOne, a new technological era has dawned bringing with it interstellar travel, rapid colonization of the galaxy, inexhaustible energy, advanced Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and the power to travel between quantum realities. This new age has also brought a host of new challenges where players must battle for harmony with their environment — and sometime survival.

The game includes a number of games like Desert Quench and Scorpion Stomp, associated rewards and collectibles, and personal questing adventures, all of which are tracked by the Sodium AI Information Android known as VICKIE. The games make for a truly next-level PlayStation Home space that centres on the concept of offering persistent objectives and long-term rewards to the PlayStation Home community, so users may work together to reach score targets and unlock future content and continuously upgrade their personal gaming experiences.

Due to the nature of Home, the game will continue to grow and expand as Home does. New games, virtual items, and community events will continually be added. For more information visit the Sodium One Website.
